Who ever dreamed up the rule that Mom's are always in charge of dinner? Who's idea was this? Like where's the job description that defines these responsibilities? Dad comes home from work and he's exhausted, takes off his shoes and goes right to the chair. Mom gets home, carrying in the grocery sacks and is expected to put them all away and then get to cooking.

Oh and then after dinner, everyone throws their dirty dish in the sink and goes off to do their thing. So I guess it is assumed my job is to clean all of this up? So when the question comes up, "Mom what are you making for dinner" and I would like to say; "well I am making you people into little chefs and kitchen cleaners. And then I am making myself a bath and let me know when you get that supper done."
In case that doesn't work here is an easy recipe for you.
Quesadilla:
soft taco sized flour tortillas
a T or two of butter
shredded cheese
meat, if you want
dry ranch seasoning or garlic powder
Butter the tortilla, like it's a piece of toast. Lay it in the pan on medium heat, layer the cheese in the middle. As its starting to cook, sprinkle ranch and/or garlic powder on the tortilla. Flip the tortilla and do the same on the other side. Sometimes some of the cheese spills out and that is so yummy if you can crisp that up. Serve with salsa, sour cream and/or guac. Takes like 5-8 minutes and tastes delicious!
